Hahah... I totally agree. Most people don't realize that Bush is trying to save this country. Maybe it's too late.

I am amazed at the lack of support.

This is a great break through. Will it get us out of Iraq quicker....not likely but I'd like to think so.

Will it help at all....who knows.

All I hope is that it squashes a bit of the anti american activity over there.....maybe not have any more military deaths being reported to stateside families over the holidays. Maybe just a couple short weeks of less resistance so we can get a jump on some of the water and power supply issues....and what not. ....just a little makes it worth it.

And we were not in Iraq for osama? What the hell...we went there to stop Sadam....we did. I am not some raging republican bush supporter but this is a good thing....maybe you guys should be happy for something instead of angry at everything....

Osama is probably freakin dead an burried inside one of those caves we bombed the crap out of....at this point we can't do anything about it....just try to trust our military and leadership...however idiotic they seem at times.

man...who freakin cares about presidential ratings and we shouldn't have been there in the first place crap.....woulda shoulda...fact is we are...we did....at least something good happened.

im just grateful to be livin here in the U.S. and not in the Philippines right now...it really sucks, and i feel sorry for the people...i just don't get why everyone hates the U.S. and the person who's leading it.

Compare yourself to another common person of your same age to someone in Iraq...you think he'll be driving a WRX right now?? you think he has the same salary as you? do you think he has medical benefits??if i was in the PI, i would be prolly driving some POS 80's lancer...no medical benefits, working for like $100 dollars/month (PI Pesos converted).

Yes the U.S. has some agenda's in these third world countries that they are "helping" or "aiding" as they fight terrorism and dictatorships, but to be honest with you, i'd rather have them interfere all the time, take what they need whether if its oil, demographical strategies or what not, kick out all dictators, and spread the wealth for the people, well that did not happen for the PI since they are stupid enough to kick out the U.S. bases (so there goes our defense when we get attacked by other neigboring countries). But we still borrow ga-zillions of money from the U.S. and still get help inspite of. And its way better than when our own Marcos was ruling it. But i still won't live there even if i had money, coz the corruption just sucks every breath you take.

IMHO, they don't want the U.S. to interfere because they know the U.S. will seize all their stolen assets and wealth and use it to rebuild the nation which really belongs to the people whom they stole it from.

Im just thankful and blessed to be raising my son here, where there's equality, justice and the oppurtunity to pursue happiness and success.

dont be so naive to think that we are "spreading the wealth" any farther then political or family ties.

You sir are an idiot.

Im not even going to go into it with you right now.

My suggestion pull your head out of your *** and do some research on things before you commit them to "reality".

i am not naive...i am hoping that whatever they acquire from saddams wealth and money would be spent to rebuild iraq and its people, have a better government, provide health care and benefits..employment and a better economy...they would definitely be better off this way than having saddam ruling them right?? or i can be wrong...at least the U.S. won't be stupid enough to deprive Iraq of these benefits...and i don't believe we will...it would just look bad and screw the U.S's reputation, its the least the U.S. can do..after all we and the rest of the world are benefiting from its oil riches IMO.

in addition...i know how those people feel on what they have gone through, i have experienced it under a dictator, corruption, and injustice...the harsh kinds...so i can say that i am happy for them that they don't have to live the way they used to. Makes me wish the U.S. did something to stop Marcos' injustice, corruption, and abuse of the poor. also, im glad you did not have to go through any sort of these situations in your life(correct me if im wrong), and if so...consider yourself lucky

im not trying to argue with any of you...im just trying to get a point across on how it feels to be oppressed, coz im sure as heck i don't feel any oppression here in the U.S. these days
