i always thought he would get taken out by a sniper or something, not captured.
me too. the fact that we captured him alive is strange. i figured he'd cap himself before he surrendered to US troops.

Daredevil is right, this is going to send Bush's approval rating through the roof, and quite possibly win him re-election. things in Iraq weren't going quite how the administration had planned them, but this vindicates Bush's actions.

bush is an idiot no amount of capturing "bad men" will save him from his own stupidity.

Where are the WMD's? ahhh exactly there never was any, the only WMD the bush's are after comes in barrels labeled crude.

I also really dont think that capturing Saddam will do all that much for Bush. Sure in the next couple of days or even weeks his rating will go up, but who will really remember this in a year? I bet not many people, I had almost forgot about his sons until I heard the news today that he was captured.

Saddam is probably feeling a little grumpy right now.

Haha that was hilarious

I'm glad Saddam is captured, but now Bush is going to get all this praise that I don't think he deserves. I've always viewed Bush sorta like this:

unfortunately most people will forget about WMD's and focus on the capture. U can bet Bush's media people are gonna push saddam's capture and not mention WMD's. I believe most people in the US dont even know the real reason the US is there (WMD's).

Apparently Bush is a hero (even before saddam's capture) to many people in the east. maybe outside of cali? and will follow him no matter what without thinking for their own. I always believed people thought for themselves intelligently. However, this war has enlightened me on how many adults can be moronic sheep following their herder. I guess that can be a good thing as well as bad cause I have come to the conclusion that I am smarter than everyone outside of Cali.

i swear you people are never happy...if/when they catch Osama you'll be complaining on why bush hasn't found Tupac's killer. It's not going to be easy...people think the CIA's Intel has all the answers, unfortunately that's far from the truth.

The capture of saddam is a MAJOR blow to the psyops world and now the US can say anything they want to the Iraqi population that they deem fit because they can claim saddam said this and that... POG's are gonna exploit this with the loud speakers like no tomorrow. It'll take a little more convincing for the people of Tikrit of course because they're loyal to saddam.

The is only the beggining... let them interigate Saddam for the WMD, mass graves etc and perhaps even for others like Osama, who knows?

i would keep going and going but i wouldn't want people to get all bent out of shape and whine.

When they find Bin Laden, they oughta force him & Saddam to perform cruel sexual acts on each other, and broadcast it on live TV.

While they're at it, they should toss Yassir Arafat into the mix too!

hahah!
