can anyone chime in on if a catless/aftermarket uppipe will make the droning worse? if so how much of a difference?

I didn't notice a huge change in noise doing (just) the uppipe.

yea my concern is, adding a catless uppipe with already a catless tbe.

That might push you over the edge I have a gutted stocker uppipe, catless prodrive shorty DP and the stock (catted) 3rd section and midpipe going to a Stromung dual tip. And a good amount of Dynamat/Dynapad in the trunk. That's about the right level of noise -- push the throttle and you get a nice rumble but it's not horribly intrusive. Wouldn't want it any louder for cruising, though.
