what is the 3" Midepipe to Stock STi Muffler Cat Back Exhaust System (07)?

Is it a 3 inch pipe that will bolt on to an aftermarket downpipe and then taper down to 2.5 inch to bolt on to a stock STI muffler? or is it just the factory midpipe?
If its a 3" to 2.5" midpipe like I described then I'm interested, let me know how much you want for it. Thanks
