As far as tuning, just street tuned...never got a chance to dyno it. Dont get me wrong...the 1818 was very strong. Just didnt have the high end like the 1820....
Just wondering, why do you ask??

But considering that the car has never been on any dyno since then (at least with that lovely PE1818) and that, AFAIK, you haven't taken it to the drag strip, how can you be certain that you gained anything from what you got at my shop? I would expect someone as discerning as you to quantify to approximately what extent that you've been "screwed" before climbing to the highest mountain in the village and yelling "Foul".
I have an idea. Let's dyno your car. At ATP, of course, since you think my dyno is bogus. Surely your 1820 set-up should be substantially stronger than the 1818 set-up you used when I "screwed" you. Let's go to ATP and see what it puts down. I'll even pay for the baseline. Are you free Saturday?

The thought even crossed my mind to PM you and try to smooth things over....maybe even post it. lol what was I thinking. ahahahaha
well, shiv, I did put the car on the dyno RIGHT AFTER YOUR TUNE!!!! and did get more power out of it from the other tuners...I can post the graphs if you would like, to prove that you did suck at tuning my car. After the other tuners showed me the results, I paid them to re-tune my car...but they did so by means of street tuning. Which I didnt bother getting dyno'd sine then because I could feel a BIG difference between the tunes.
Dont you get it...if the number came out the same...we wouldnt have an issue...I am not like you and LIE to people!!! But since the other tuners where able to get more power out of my mods with in like 10-20 min. I went with them...ans knew you didnt do your best.
Sure you can pay for my dyno...but sorry I will be out of town this weekend. Starting tomorrow. Trust me I would love to do it Sat. Infact I cant wait til we do this.
FYI...I have already put down 280 whp 91 oct. with my current set-up...and have some more tuning since then...I am still interested in what my number should be now. I am glad you will be the one to pay for it too. thanks I will let you know when I am available.
I dont think your dyno is bogus....those are one of the best dyno's that you have. But, I have already heard of some of your customers who have dyno'd at your place and went right over to ATPs' and got about the same results...maybe 4hp difference. INfact I had less powewr on your tune on ATP's dyno. You gave me like 240 something hp...on ATP's it was more like 230 something.
talk to you soon.

Also, shiv,
You already proved me right with what I have said all along about how you tuned my car.
And that's what my opinion about you has been all about!!!!
You told me that I got 240ish whp, with vishnu stage 2 ( but with pe1818, and Vishnu TMIC) and thats the best you could do. Infact you said that on your dyno...260 was abou the highest and not too many people hit that mark. You and your guys even said that by adding a FMIC, bigger turbo (bigger than fv34), and supporting mods....I would not see that much of a difference UNLESS I ran 100 oct. As it was...I was already at 260 something before I got your ecutek, tmic, and the 1818....how the hell did I loose power by adding better mods????
Now, shivy...here's where you NOW proved me right....
you tune tk5dan, who has vishnu xede, vf30, blitz fmic, hks intake, gruppe-s manifold, uppipe, catless turboback, and perrin turbo inlet. On 91 octane pump gas at 16psi his car made 278whp. Lets see just about all the mods I asked you about, and wanted to put on my car, and you said it wouldnt make a difference.
You know what??? We'll let the dyno do the talking...again...SEE YA SOON PAL!!
-freddie
ps. EDIT: Those are good number too, and I am very happy for tk5dan. I am not hating on him either...and I have already explained that too him
edit 2: great spelling skills lol

Also, Shiv,.....before I go to sleep....
It was until about 2-3 months ago that I still ran the very same pe1818. The tuners did an awesome job tuning with it. It got messed up about 1 week before the "suby track day" that you never showed up to. I had to get a trubo for that event and so I got the pe1820.
Even when I ran the pe1818, I still had a similliar set up...but with APS TMIC.....it was still WAY better than your tune.
ok thats all for now, gotta get up at 5am...cause I am going out of town. See ya when I get back.
cheers

Hey dude... you gotta look at it like this. When Shiv tuned your car back in the Day (When you had a different turbo than he thought you had cuz you didnt tell him... ) he didn't have as much tuning experience as he does now. So, I'd say his learning curve has changed the shape of his tuning.
Enzo Ferrari didn't become a legend after 2 years of auto production. It took him years, and years to make his company into what it is today. Life is learning, and learning is living.

PS: I hope I wasn't insulting anyone... and I hope none of you think I'm taking sides, because I'm not. I know both of you, and I respect you both (in your own ways
). I'm just looking at it from a rational point of view.
