I have no idea. I ran it for a total of three minutes. I only bought it because I thought my 18g was bad. Turns out my motor was hurt. Ill see if I can identify it.

depending on which one all those turbos you mentioned will spool around 3500-3800.

Also depends on how it gets tuned too.

There's a difference between spooling and full boost...lol Even a 20g is at full boost around 4000

By spool I mean full boost lol.

Then again. I don't have power till that range either.

Turbo is spooling at idle....

Considering the 18g and 20g variations pnpd. Hta 86?? What kind of spool/lag am I looking at with those? Anyone care to chime in thats running that setup? Anyone willing to take me along for a ride on that setup?

Dude a HTA86 is similar to a GT35 if i'm not mistaken. On a 2.5L if all you are looking for is great drivability with early spool and aren't chasing higher then 400whp the 18G-XTR or 20G-XTR are perfect choices for engine longevity depending on how your tune is set up. Honestly those are the only two turbos i'm considering for my 2.5L on E85.

Isn't an HTA68 an 18G TD05 housing with a 20G cartridge? Or more blades?

Rob you have been watching too much Initial D and want everything to say 86 I see there

There is no engine longevity but there is at the same time. Kennon's motor is already about to go with the XTR.

He has a Blouche Dom 1.5XT (56mm) that pushes even more air then the 20G-XTR (46mm). Personally i believe it's all in the tune. Honestly i think once you go bigger then stock turbo you just have to be prepared.

Yeah it's a 1.5 he didn't put down much because he said he wanted to preserve the block. Talked to him after we raced with the IS-F lol.
