Turbo recommendations

2.5L
TMIC
Full turboback
ewg
91 or e85
unequal ex manifold


Needs: Fast spool/less lag, pulls hard to redline.

Willing to trade off top end power for early spool.

Not sure your overall power goals but I like the blouch td05-16g...basic turbo, brand new like $800 and I read it spools like a vf but makes a bit more power...350whp range I think it was...

I almost bought one from oakos last year because they were on sale for $690 brand new

16gxt or hta68 was the plan on my 2.0L but I was reading there were better options for the 2.5L.

I wont be going the twin scroll route due to a) needing to switch to equal length ex manifold b) jdm kits availability and cost not being worth the hassle.

Considering the 18g and 20g variations pnpd. Hta 86?? What kind of spool/lag am I looking at with those? Anyone care to chime in thats running that setup? Anyone willing to take me along for a ride on that setup?

Is that the OG version or the newer one? also at what rpm did you hit full boost and what was your setup?
