The up-pipe cat is a metal substrate right? I'm no suby tech but that's just what I've read. Those (like adam said) are very very tough. Not like the conventional cats (like the two that I got rid of when I replaced my stock DP

You're right... the uppipe cat is a metal substrate cat. Shouldn't be too big of an issue, but I HAVE spoken with someone who had his uppipe cat destroy his turbo. It seems like these are cases of defective uppipes more than anything else.
