T-Mobile vs. Cingular (Coverage in the Bay)
was with verizon since 1999, until a few month ago.
back then they were pretty good, but their prices have been rising, service... not as much.
so i end up switching to tmobile. phones are better and cheaper. i save about 40-50 bucks a month.
coverage is good so far. sometime around the freeway, calls would break up for a second or two during driving, but other then that, coverage is pretty equal to verizon. maybe it's because i rarely travel out of san francisco/san mateo area, but i dont leave the area much, so it doesnt matter to me the coverage in more rural areas.
this is coming from someone that burns up at least 4000 minutes a month for both personal and business calls.

I don't know if it's just me, but Verizon sucks lately. I've been getting so many dropped calls and the reception isn't what it once was. I'm waiting for my contract to end and I'm switching to Cingular.
I have had pretty good experience with Sprint and Verizon in terms of coverage. However, neither one of them would work at my work building. Seems like only Cingular works here at my work... I am still on Verizon and looking into Cingular when my contract is up since I get 15% discount through my work...
