Better Cingular coverage?

Has anyone noticed better cingular coverage?

I thought I lost my cell tonight because I called it from the house phone and it rang 4 times and then went to voicemail. However, I've only ever gotten reception the year we've lived here in one spot. I started to drive into town when I remembered where I had put my phone so I went home, found it and was like "wtfm8?" I was downstairs and had 3 bars! I put the phone down on the desk and pluged it into the computer and had 2 bars, then 1, then went back up to 2, and now is going between 2 and 3.

I live about right in the middle of the map here and I should not have cell reception this far out :P

i only noticed better coverage when i went with a non-USDM nokia phone. the usdm stuff sucks for coverage. even the new verizon motorola's have trouble, and theyre the 'can you hear me now' people.
