Cingular users...is your service screwed up today?

All day today, my cell phone has been screwed up. When I try and place calls, they somehow get routed to another number. I'm also hearing other people's conversations too. Heh, there was this one cute sounding chick that somehow got connected to me, but the reception dropped, before I could get her #.

yeah I was wondering about that... I usually get ok reception in my room, but this morning I got exactly ****... It would flucutate between 3 bars and NO SERVICE... WTH?

I have had similar problems. I was told that cingular is "upgrading" their antennas, boosting power on some, replacing others.

what ever that means....service still sucks.

my friend has that exact same problem. its hella funny.. my roommate called him earlier in the day. so my friend answers.. when he picks up the phone, he hears ringing and some dude answers (not my roommate). so my roomate goes wassup.. but my friend dont hear him, cause the call somehow got routed to another dudes phone. so my friend (who answered) goes "hello?" to the 3rd dude. 3rd dude: hello?
friend: who's this?!?
3rd dude: jeff
friend: jeff? wtf?
roommate: not jeff.. its leon! (friend dont hear him at all)
repeat about 3 times.. b4 everyone hangs up..

i was crackin up after i heard both sides of the story.
