As for age.. it would suck for those who have to share cars, or a kid bummin' mom n' dad's ride. Too many misconceptions. There would have to be a new license plate installation. Like it'd have to be embedded in trunks, so a license plate can't be just taken off without fiddling around with the trunk, I'm sure there will be tons of thefts due to people having an illegal ride anyways and want to drive out on the street.
The U.S. is still the cheapest place to get a lic in the world. And I think our crash rate shows it.
I agree with the views that there will always be racing as long as people are driving. There needs to be more conveniant legal places to race your car. People can't wait until Wednesday night drags and don't want to drive all the way to Sears Point to pay 30 dollars or whatever it is to race against people. If only there was a place that was made just for drags every day, somewhere closer to home.

A 15-year-old boy injured in a fiery car crash in Eagle Rock today became the fourth person to die from the accident that police suspect occurred as three cars raced down a busy stretch of Colorado Boulevard.
Andrew Cordova, 15, died about 9:50 a.m. at Huntington Memorial Hospital of multiple injuries suffered in Wednesday night's crash, said Craig Harvey, chief investigator of the Los Angeles County coroner's office.
Meanwhile, Rostislav Shnayder, 19, of Eagle Rock, was charged today with four counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence in connection with the accident, said Det. Felix Padilla, of the Los Angeles Police Department who is investigating the crash. Bail was recommended at $200,000.
WTF.... Thats it? Ah that guy gets out he's not ever going to be seen again! Off he goes...

bail is determined by a couple of things.
One the kid is probably not a flight risk. And two he's not a violent criminal. I think the bail is appropriate. He made a bad choice and he'll probably spend his time talking with lawyers, crying and trying to spend his few remaining free days with his family and getting laid. 4 counts of vehicular homicide... kid might not get out of jail until he's 50. Sad for all involved. Fortunately for him its manslaugher so he might do less than 15 years depending on the judge and jury.
Insanely high bail is usually for people with an insane amount of money (celebrities) and for violent and/or flight risk criminals.
Bounty hunters don't make their money off wreckless drivers.
