Sweet. Man, all of this bimmer talk has made me miss my car, and even worse, made my desire for an e30 M3 flare up again.
e30 M3 > any other M3. I'd take a prestine low mileage e30 M3 over an e46 M3 any day of the week. I'd give my girlfriend for an EVO e30 M3... mmmmmmm.

I used to own a 1988 E30 M3, DAMN i miss that thing!! If it were in good running condition I'd own it over any subaru! Seriously that thing was a head turner, I even got thumbs up from 60 yr old grandpa's driving M5's!!

I had a 1989 325iX, an awd e30. It was an OK car to drive but the maintenance was ridiculous. It was a bit underpowered, but the sound that straight six sang when you got on it was really nice.

Zoeb, I'm quite sure my 5.28e was an E30, a few people have tried to point out that it was an E28, but I don't think it was exactly. It was a rare "minor change" model before the model-up in 1989. The most prominent feature of E30's like mine were the double-barreled exhaust (similar to the E28 5.35i) as opposed to the E28 5.28e's single barrel. Plus, the rear bumper's sides were slightly different. It was and is even more rare now to spot of these nowadays
Of course, if it is indeed my memory serving me incorrectly, could you link me to a BMW model number page for reference? Not challenging you or anything, just curious more than anything
Hehe, it's funny how much I wished I had a 5.35i back in the day. There was so much stuff that you could do to those wicked inline 6's and that spacious engine bay  And those hydraulic steel bumpers ROCKED!
