The Tampa vs Caps game is pretty good right now, Ovechkin barely tied it in the third with 1+ min left to take it into overtime. Go Lightning!

I missed the game because of class but the highlights looked nice. I love how Yahoo doesn't have anything about the Sharks on the top headlines in the NHL section. Everyone hates on Bay Area teams... the Giants now the Sharks.

I want to bring the broomsticks out. But I think we all remember last years game 4 against the Tampons. We had the 3-0 lead in the series, and got blown out like 7-2 or some ****?
If we can win game 4 though, I think this would be our first sweep in a playoff series, ever! And against Detroit. We're cup bound!!!

Niemi was on his **** last night. I mean the first couple minutes of the game detroit had like 7-10 shots on net and Niemi was in Beast Mode and was stopping everything.
Nail biter there at the end.
Two things I noticed last night during the game that almost made them blow it right at the start.
#1 They weren't covering their points. The Wings defensive men were out floating around with no one covering them (part of the reason Niemi had so many shots to block in the first place). McLellan was about to come unhinged( in his calm manner of course) the couple times the camera showed his face.
It's like they were in power play swarm mode the first 10 mins of the game.
#2 Though Niemi did well last night. He needs to stay off his damn knees. He kept going down during those Redwing power plays, they saw that so they were shooting high when they were up close. But the dude had so ****ing awesome stops last night.
Last night was definitely a good show

Eh, *****ing and moaning about penalties will never get ya anywhere. Redwings did it last year, and they are getting killed again this year even with the powerplay calls.
Lets just keep this thread about the Sharks and not complain about officiating.
