Sharks Thread

I think Marleau will come through eventually, I'm sure he's trying. Setu was quiet but trying his best and finally got the goals to show for it not too long ago. I believe the same thing will happen with Marleau, he has liek 40-50 somethin' or other goals in the playoffs... but again, Sharks big guys always have a tough time showing up in the playoffs. That's why depth on the charts really lean the Sharks direction this year. The 3rd line Pavelski, Wellwood and Mitchell Line is awesome. Now that Clowe is back and grinding with Couture and Heater is solid.

I kinda had this thought that even if the Sharks had won games 1 and 2 at home, the series would still go 6. If they had split the first two games, it'd go 7. After the Sharks took game 3, everyone and their moms could only think about sweep. Hell, even I thought it'd be awesome.
Guess I need to go back to my original theory. Sharks in 6!
If the Wings do pull off a win in game 6, though, I have a bad feeling Sharks aren't gonna win game 7 either. Momentum is shifted very much to the Wings right now.

They didn't play poorly on Sunday, they just made a few mistakes at the wrong times. That happens in the playoffs. They also took it a bit too easy in the third. I've said this for years about The Sharks and feel like it's trite at this point, but... 60 minutes of hockey is the only way to win a 60 minute game.

I hope to god they put this drama to rest tonight. Nothing better than ending the Red Wings' season on their home ice.

jr was right about marleau, but jr is a drama queen. The entire team was gutless in the third period on sunday. They didn't race to the puck and they didn't pass worth a damn. The sharks play hard all season until it really counts (in the playoffs) then they go on vacation when they should be pound bodies against the boards. We need a team that has fight left in them in may and june.
