Everyone is always like... dude... you ride Bear? Why? I'm like... come ride with me for a weekend and you'll see. LOL.

I love riding a places like Sierra and Sugar Bowl. I just don't like the expense of having to be up in tahoe and deal with all the gapers.

I used to ride OB everywhere but they just opened a lot of my stash up to the public at Bear. Bummed me out. Now I have to keep people from getting lost and dying like once every couple weeks. igits.

 

Just scraped my storage wax off. Applied a fresh coat of swix and I'm lookin forward to this season! Anymountain in concord has burton pants for 40 bucks. Just picked up a set. Just an FYI for those looking for deals

 

I haven't been to Bear in years! I wasn't all that great back then, so I am sure it will be like a whole new world when I go back again. I would love to get a tour of some backcountry. I am happy to hike as well.

I always got to rep Dodge Ridge though. Just love the laid back atmosphere there. A lot of the runs are really mellow, but there are some hidden caches throughout the inbounds area. Also, I have been heading out of bounds quite often in the last 3-4 years there. There are some awesome glades out of bounds that don't get too tracked. Sometime in the future, they are supposed to be expanding out to that area, which will make me sad, but for now, I will enjoy it while it lasts. I guess it just means that I will just have to go further

Save your bread. Homewood is the only resort worse than Donner Ski Ranch in terrain and overall satisfaction. **** Homewood. Flat *** runs.

 

u clearly have not gone thru their unmarked paths lolol. you stick with their crappy trails of course its gonna be flat. u need to go thru the trees before you actually have fun.

They cool thing about ski patrol in general up there. Once they start to know your face... they don't care where you go. LOL!

I've had some races over the years with them down from a closed ridge into the bowl. LOL!
