I've always called boreal "first and worst" haha.
I have a vertical plus double wammy. it's pretty sweet.
I'm sure this has been mentioned already, but if you fill up 10 gallons at participating Shell stations, you get a free Sierra ticket. (edit: buy one get one free)

Sorry, the ticket is actually buy one get one free.
But my brother got one at the Shell station in Davis on Richard's Blvd. It's on the way to Tahoe so that can work.
My friend got one in SF but I can't remember which. You take your receipt to the cashier and they'll give you the coupon.
Here's some sort of evidence:

Worked at the Dublin Shell for me (across the street from Hooters).
Another deal I found...
Slide Boreal For $15? That's Right, Sliders. Friday would be “frickin’ Fridays” at Boreal. $15 lift tickets for anyone with a valid Student, Military or CA State Employee ID.
And...

And...
$25 lift tickets for Northstar in April. Have to buy your lift tickets through the link below and they're limited to 1,000 tickets being available.

The only problems I would have is snow getting caked up into the wheel well cause there is no place for it to exit. Try cleaning that out when the back is weighted down with all the gear and you don't have much room to even stick your hand in there to clear out the snow.

I never used to get hassled and my car sits pretty low. Haven't taken it up in a while so I don't know if they have changed their outlook. I just told them AWD, the look at it funny and say ok.
