Talking awesome road rage today

So my fiance and I are coming back from school driving in the carpool lane. Going about 73ish mph. The flow of the regular traffic is maybe 65.

So this guy starts coming up on me and starts riding my ***. Yes its annoying but most of the time I try to ignore them. Well I guess I wasnt going fast enought for this guy with his little girl in the back seat. He proceeds closer to the back of my car and starts flashing his lights at me.

These ppl crack me up! They are the ones that get all bent out of shape and its fun to toy with them.

So hes flashing his lights at me so I slow down to 67mph or so. He is talking to himself (i can see him clear as day in my rearview mirror) getting more upset. He continues so i slow down just under the posted speed limit. So now the regular lanes are starting to pass my on my right. My exit is coming up soon so im about to merge over anyways and ill just let this guy think that "he won".

But no he merges to the right, floors it, and as hes driving by my passenger side window he flings up his arms like "wtf a-hole". Then proceeds to almost rearend the car infront of him and merging violently into my lane basically cutting me off.

So I know what would really get this guy heated. I calmly merge over pull up next to him and give him the finger

Oh man did that set him off! He starts flinging his arms up in the air, giving me finger after finger on each hand, mouthing "**** you a-hole you piece of **** "

So I make a grab for the air (as if someone blew me a kiss) catch it and gentley place it on the side of my face while smiling at him. That pissed him off so much!

So now im basically dying laughing and that makes him even more pissed. So i contunue to merger over lanes one by one and exit off the freeway. Even my fiance was like "wow that guys a d-bag"

I got to get me some D Batteries! LOL stash em under the seat.

About 3 days ago I went on a backroad in the middle of no where and about a 2 mile stretch of straight road and was trying to teach my girlfriend how to drive stick...

She couldnt get into 1st gear because it was her first time driving stick lol so we are sittin there stalled and then some old ******* slams his breaks behind us as she is stalled on one side of the road and starts honking his horn and yelling when he can easily go around us ( we had hazard lights on also )

So i get out and this guy starts cussing up a storm telling me im a dumb **** and i need to get the **** out the road and also asking me if I wanted to die out there LOL.

I yelled back at him she cant drive stick and he proceeds to tell me its not his problem and he dont give a **** move the **** out the way! LOL

I thought I was going to have to give an old man a beatdown, but he decided to stay in his truck, I got in the car drove away flipped a ***** then as we passed him honked and gave him the finger.

I don't understand what this *******s problem was he could have easily went around us, if I had some D batteries I would have thrown a few at his truck LoL!!!.

I'm not angry. I just look down on people like you.

I'll cover this again because it looks like you are a little slow.

The rule is not 'Slower Traffic Keep Right Unless You Are Already Going The Speed Limit Or Faster'.

It is 'Slower Traffic Keep Right'.

You already admitted that you were going slower than he was and that you were in the left lane. If you don't know how to drive or don't have the courtesy to drive properly, do us all a favor and take the bus.

So you want me to pull into the next lane, let him pass me, to only get 3 or 4 car lengths further up before he gets stuck behind the next car?

Its not like I was the only one in the carpool lane for a mile.... I just dont feel the need to ride someones *** the entire time im on the road.

So if people like you feel like your getting to where your going faster by moving up a whole 3 car lengths and riding everyones *** and flashing your lights at them... I feel sorry for you because there will always be people like me there to **** you off and get you all worked up and lmao because of you

+1. Flashing his lights meant, please get out of the way, I have somewhere to be. Who cares if you're going faster than the posted limit, you're going slower than him so heed way.

As for the OP, as you get older you'll learn that these things don't matter. If it was me I would've just given the guy the room to merge instead of causing multiple parties to have to deal with this issue.

I dunno, maybe it's the fact that I've seen tons of this crap before and it's just not worth it, that or because I'm used to it as a motorcyclist.

Did you forget where you are? This is a car forum. I can't speak for everyone here but I don't find your self-congratulatory story amusing and I doubt anyone else on here does either. We love cars. We love driving. We enjoy getting places as quickly as possible. We *HATE* people that act exactly like you've described. You're here bragging about your behaviour? I hope your girlfriend was impressed because we're not.

Notice how you keep trying to justify your behaviour? 'I was already speeding.', 'There was more traffic up ahead.'. You are responsible for doing the right thing regardless of how others act. When someone is in a hurry, just let them by. He's on his way and you don't have anyone on your back bumper. See how easy that is? Everyone's happy and that much safer. If he runs into another ahole 3 car lengths ahead, so be it.

I'm definitely in agreement with slower traffic NEEDING to yield to the right hand lanes. In England they adhere to this rule, and it works great. Firsthand experience while visiting my sister in Sheffield.

The plicks who feel entitled to impede the flow of traffic for whatever reason, can **** up a rope. It's not that difficult to change lanes. I mean, you're driving a car, not doing a tightrope walk.

So you're ok with ppl driving around crazy with their small daughter in the back seat? Would you do that to your own small child? By small child I mean 5 or 6 years old. Is that ok with you too?

Imagine if you had done the proper thing and simply moved one lane over to the right, he drives past you in the left lane, and then you move back into the left lane? Doesn't sound like crazy driving to me.

Do you really not understand how your behaviour is causing others to react in negative ways? You've blocked him, then slowed him down, and then forced him to make an evasive lane change to get past you. Who is the problem here?

And yet again you are trying to justify your actions. Whether or not he puts his child at risk with his driving is NOT the issue. Your driving is. Again, if you had simply followed the rule that slower traffic is to keep right, none of this would have been an issue. Your behaviour is the source of the problem, which is why I'm focusing on you. Stop making excuses and think a little bit more about your attitude.
