Recommend a Wedding Photographer

Can anyone thats gotten married recently recommend a wedding photographer local to the Bay Area.

I'd prefer someone who shoots w/o an assistant, but thats not a requirement. I'd also require someone willing to give full resolution digital source files.

Here is who I used: http://www.jeffreydavila.com/ I highly recommend him. He fits the criteria that you listed plus being a great guy and a long-time car guy.

i would do it for... price of gas? to build up my portfolio, but sounds like its a small wedding since you prefer no assistant.

That goes for anyone, the only wedding experience i have are the few i took at a couple cousins and aunts wedding...so i'm dirt cheap...AIR CHEAP!

that is a great idea. have us do the candid shots for the wedding. for all the formals, i can take care of those since i have the most experience. tell me is it an asian wedding or something else? give me specifics of locations like church, party, outdoors. also needs for engagement pictures. how many people on the groom side and how many on the bride side. how many people in the wedding party like best mand and grooms men and so on. give me details and i can help you out.

we will all collect the pictures and i will upload to a professional site you can download and print the pictures. as for an album, i still have all the professional connections.

let us know and we would love to help. i love food, so tell me what you will feed us.

and their prices are very reasonable considering their work.

oh, btw, we called about 40+ photographers and visited about 15 in person to see their work and pricing and came down to them... I have to say, only one was better and he still uses film! however, not enough photos since he is still going by rolls and the sales lady was creepy!

the biggest reason that film photographers are the best is because they do have to take good pictures and not county on fixing errors using photoshop. digital photography and photoshop made lots of photographers lousy. sorry, but that is the truth.

i honestly cant believe what people charge, thats why i want to get into the field.

seriously i'm a third year art student, i've taken 3d camera techniques, storyboarding etc. i know how to frame stuff as long as i get exposure right. Tho i'm still a noob, how bad could the pictures be?
