Check this out. I just learned this about the D3

WOW, who are you dude? I love your knowledge. I guess that is the biggest reason is that I am using a D80 which does not seem compatible with my older lenses that I have used for years with my F5 film camera. So you're saying that when I get the D3, things will be different? Thanks for the info. I will probably get a D3 fairly soon.

I'm just a poor freshman in college lol. I've been into photography now for 2 years and have just been taking pictures and learning along the way. I really should go out to one of the meets you guys go to so I can meet you guys in person. Which ones do you guys go to? I live in San Mateo.. I don't know if anyone has seen me driving around before or not.. I drive a 99 STM 2.5 RS. I think the meet that I'm planning on going to is in San Jose at Big Dogs Grill on the 17th. If theres another one that I don't know about on this side of the bay.. tell me
That is if you're 21 yet? you don't really have to be nobody will kick you out since its a restaurant too.

lol I'm only 18. How's the turn out at Duke? I might go to check that out.. Maybe bring my camera as well..
Also whens the next meet for the one in San Jose?
Only problem is right now my car is in and out of the shop because currently my MAF needs to be replaced and my engine bogs and dies at idle unless I constantly rev the engine a bit. So maybe not this coming week but maybe next week I'll be able to make it out to one of these meets..

yeah just make sure you check to see if people are going in the meeting forum before you make the drive.
