That kid who wrecked on I think Eden Canyon Road, along 580 in Castro Valley? I think they still haven't even repaired the fence.

the accident on eden canyon on the dublin grade was terrible. That kid hadn't even lived yet. But these things happen, I suppose when your card gets pulled, you gotta leave.

Cars are lethal, and I don't like to blame it all on 'street racing' or 'a few bad drivers'. It's all the same to me and only strengthens my awareness.

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

I don't believe in religion. Religion to me is a coping mechanism, I would rather cope with real stuff rather than stories and scriptures. Could be Karma, could be God's wrath, could be EVIL, so on and so forth.

God forgives sins knowing full well that every person in their lives will have sinned thousands of times, and are all forgiven every sunday and if they're not they die or "judged". I think this is just total bunk, if you're going to forgive it all the time, then why even say you forgive sins. =P Anywho, I could go in circles about religion, but to me they're just stories that explain what actually happens in life. Like a fairy tale of reality. Off topic, but either way the officer got pwnt. I didn't hear about any of the other cars wrecking.

Does anyone remember that really tragic story from a few years back, when the royal family from Tonga came to the Bay Area for some tour/etc and were killed when some drunk ***** hit their SUV with her Ford Disgustang? How screwed up is that? I hope she gets the needle.

Sorry for the annoying ad.

Street racing is lame, especially during high speeds with other people around (read: Freeway). I dont understand how people race in traffic, by far the stupidest thing ever.

maybe we shouldn't have kids being police officers. i think he was only 23 and that seems a little too young to be an officer of the law. i know when i was 23 i made some bad decsions and i wouldn't want someone that age judging me. not to be mean, but i think we need to look at the minium age of law enforcement.

we shouldn't forget this man has a family in morning, he made a mistake and paid the ultimate price. My thoughts go out to this family cause they are the ones suffering , the problem is a day doesn't go by i don't see law enforcement speeding for no reason or on their cell phones while driving. Just because you enforce the laws doesn't mean you shouldn't abide by them.
