Wow, I can't begin to fathom what you are going through, but do know this that my prayers are with you. Have faith in the doctors and keep your head up, things will work out.

 

Sorry but the doctors have hardly anything to do with it, it's in God's hands, just trust him and His will. Sounds like she's doing better and I pray she will make a quick/easy recovery.

I'm not much of a religious person to be praying, but I do wish your girlfriend a full recovery so things can be back to normal. Hang in there, things will be fine eventually.

apparently theyre working. when i left the hospital, she was going through her initial treatment of dialysis, and everything is positive. when you go through dialysis, the blood is pulled from you body and filtered, then returned. the same rate is returned as pulled out. but as its being pulled out, your blood pressure goes down. she was responding well, as her blood pressure was rising through the process.... so thank you all for your prayers and keep them coming.

hey man my prayers are with you. You dont seriously realize how much someone means to you until the possiblity of them leaving you becomes reality. You're a tough SOB....and apparently so is she. She'll get through it...stay strong dude.

yes she is a tough SOB, an extremely tough SOB... due to complications, she has suffered three ( including this one ) kidney failures, in a little over a year, although this is the most severe, by far. those two were very minor, as they were kick started by medication in the same day...

those two failures were caused by pancreatitis.... this one was all on its own, and we dont know why......

she IS fighting it, with all the will, strength, spirit, and being she has....

and it looks like she is starting to win...

Wow, I just happened across this thread tonight. Being very close to my GF, and putting myself in your situation, I can really sympathise with your desperation. Just remember that there may be nothing direct you can do, but those tending to her have trained their whole lives for this. She is in the best hands possible so the cards are already stacked in her favor. Good luck bud.

I don't know you personally but so far you seem like a great guy. I just read this whole thread and I feel terrible about what has happened to you and your girlfriend. It seems like she is one tough, tough girl though. I hope everything turns out okay.

I hope they can diagnose the kidney condition too, they are important!
