update: as of 6pm, shes doing great! the doc said today was 10% better than yesterday, and yesterday was great! shes getting real restless, as Smitty saw firsthand, so she really needs to be sedated. other than that, she might be pulled off the respirator tomorrow, but theres no guarantee for that. we dont want to pull it, only to put it back in 30 minutes later....

and thank you Cody...were all going to have to have a meet, so you can all see her when she gets out, so she can thank you in person... well have to make the " rounds " so to speak

thank you... apparently ( i havent gone yet, im out the door after this ) the reason her kidneys havent started is the fact that shes getting a heightened level of oxygen from the respirator.... i hope so....

update:as of 8pm, she is still doing good. her kidneys are working slowly, as it will be a while before they are back up to 100%.... shes getting more alert, and you could look at her and tell that she is more agitated from all the pain shes in...

she finally spoke! after 7 days of being intubated, my girlfriend finally spoke! she got the tube out today! :banana:

Hey Walt, I don't pray (in the middle of this whole religious conflict with myself...long story), but I will most definitely send all my best thoughts and vibes that way. From reading every single post here, it seems like someone's really lookin' out for her. That, or she's one tough cookie. Or maybe it's a good mix of both.
