My girlfriend Jenniffer ( Luvergirl on the boards ) has a condition that she was born with called Glycogin Storage Disease. its a chronic disease that affects her liver, where it will not convert natural sugars to glucose to fuel her body. Tonight, about 20 minutes ago ( 12:20 ), she had a hypoglycemic seizure, which occurs when your body's fuel amount gets low. Once your sugar levels rise again, youre supposed to become coherent within a few minutes. Well, this did not happen. The paramedics came, could not revive her, and took her to San Ramon Medical Center. im charged with watching her little brother while her mom goes to the hospital with her and the paramedics. Her mother and myself had never seen her like this, and now im scared ****less. I dont not know whats going to happen to her, or if she will actually be revived. Please BAIC, pray for her. I dont know what i would do without her.

Man, I'm hypoglycymic and I know what it's like to have an attack, there's nothing you can do, its probably one of the worst feelings on earlth, I can't even imagine what she's going through (since being hypoglycemic is common and what your gf has isnt).

Prayers go out to her. She'll be okay man, just keep your hopes up. Know that we're here for support if you need it man.

update: as of 4:45am, she is in the ICU, intubated with low blood pressure, and kidney failure. please, keep praying for her. she made so many firends here, she needs all you prayers.....

update: as of 6:30am, the kidney failre is because of dehydration, so its not a TRUE kidney failure. the seizure was NOT cause by hypoglycemia, and her blood pressure is rising. the odd thing about that is the fact that two hours beefore her seizure, we recorded a blood sugar level of 32, at which point she gets a large amount of water and polycose to bring it up. 20 minutes later, it was in the low 60's. when she got to the ER, it was 102. the ER says she did not come out of the seizure until 3am, and she was coherent for a brief second, but shes only been in and out of conciousness. thank you for you prayers, and please keep them coming.

My old room mate had an attack. Passed out. Totalled 7 cars including his own. Engine drove into his knee. Came to well after it was all over. He's doing fine now. Just keeps watch on his sugar levels..but he is like daniel....just hypo.

keep us updated on her progress. Sorry you all had to go through this.
