What do you think a cop would've done if he saw you passing 5 cars going 75mph on a 45mph posted street? I dont think late to the photoshoot excuse would've helped..

Btw I would've done the same.

That may be his attitude

Don't get me started on how laws are made and enforced when it comes to speed.

Since you made a legal pass they shouldn't have anything to whine about.

I'll regularly pass about 5 to 8 cars on the sb onramp near where I live, regardless of which car I'm driving that day. Everyone seems to stay all in one lane (3 lane wide onramp), then of course after I pass everyone and enter the freeway ~75mph you get a few of em all of a sudden smashing on it and weaving through traffic lol.

THAT makes you a dick. It is illegal in the state of CA to have both ears covered/plugged while driving. (now if you only had one in, I take it back)

no problem with anything else you did.

Hey Gagan, kinda OT, but when I use the hands-free earbuds that came with my phone, I put the side with the mic in my ear, then I hang the other bud over the same ear -- presto, old school single-bud hands-free set haha!

... Of course, my current ride has Bluetooth built into the radio, so no need for me to do that anymore, but just a tip for what I used to do when I was in the same situation as you were. And if you already knew that but didn't do it, THEN YER A DIIIIIIIIIICCCCCKKKKK!!!!!

Just only put one in your ear. The mic is only on one cord. I've been talked to by cops when having both buds in my ear while on my bike, where I actually hear things better w/ the earphones in since it cuts down on wind noise. Luckily, he didn't give me a ticket, just said I had to ride with only one in my ear.

On topic though, people have this "me" mentality, where if people are going slower than me they're going too damn slow, but if they're going faster than me they're going too damn fast. Don't let it bother you.

I have no interest in not using both ear buds with my phone. It cuts down a little on wind noise, I can hear emergency vehicles really well. I just don't hear weak honda horns...

I legally pass cars on the way to work every day. I've come up on them before the passing lane sit back a little ways and when the passing lane comes I pass. I then get the high beam flip and the horn honk. Almost never fails. They are just mad at the world. Plus I encounter the ones that drive under the speed limit until the see a passing zone, then they speed up to try and prevent people from passing them. Happens at least once a week.

This happens to me ALL the time. I hate it.

The other day I had some dude majorly pissed off because I was riding his butt over 152.

I'm like... dude... there is NO ONE in front of you. I caught up to you like you're standing still... you are literally driving 15mph under the speed limit... you just passed 3 turn outs and 3 signs that say slow traffic use turn outs...

And you're pissed at me? **** you.

Or I'll pass someone that's driving under the speed limit and catch them flipping me off or something. I'm like... wtf does it matter to you? I'm not effecting your drive. I'm going by you and in 35 seconds I'll be so far gone you'll never see me again in your life. But it's necessary to flip me off and take the chance that I'm in a bad mood and decide it would be a good idea to cut you off and slap my breaks instead of merge safely over with my blinker 300 feet in front of you... hmmmm....

Whatever moron.

The funniest is when you pass someone up to get onto a freeway onramp, they get mad and tailgate, but when the turn starts and you don't slow down, and mash the turn, you can see them panic and realize they can't turn for **** haha

I've looked back and seen cars nearly plow off the road trying to keep up with me. LOL!

Hell... even on our organized subaru trips I tell people flat out... drive at your own pace. Do not try to keep up with me.
