Wasn't so much concerned with the M1, rather OB's choice for the other two; well, other one, now that Motul has a ****load of Phos . There are M1 oils to use and one in particular (odds are) to avoid like the plague.

It was the old school m1, ran it for the whole life of the forester before the new engine, but a good 100k of that was on the old style (before the reformulate)

if I go 5w-40 then its the Euro
if I go 5w-30 then I could go Euro OR Signature.

They make a low and full sap version now for the Euro which is nice. I run the 5w-40 full version during the colder months on my built hybrid and a heavier dominator oil from them during the hotter months. Their membership discount is great.

My boss is on their "dealership" price list, so he is going to let me buy cases thru him at his cost

Not that it matters as I am swapping it out but Castro edge (formerly syntec) 5w-30, no real complains but, no real happiness with it, its a MEH oil.
