And Parker follows it up with a great start. This is the A's pitching we saw last season.

Been needing this to happen for a while. Playing like they're the defending AL West champs now.

After a shaky 1st, Parker settled down nicely. He put in some work out there. Glad to see him back to pitching like he's capable of. And even better that he completed 7 innings.

While the long ball is always great to have on offense, walks at key times have been huge. The 2 RBI-base-on-***** last nite are among the reasons the A's lead the league in walks. Though it ain't the most glamorous way to get on base, it puts loads of pressure on the opposing pitcher.

I'll be at at&t tmrw afternoon is Sec 127. Looking for another W tonite & when I'm out there. Arthur (aka A.J.) vs. Zito on Thur. I like Oakland's chances in that matchup.

LET'S GO OAKLAND! *clap clap clap-clap-clap*

Tonite's game was b0nkerz! Every time the Giants closed the gap, I was completely sure the A's would get those runs right back.

Sad to see Dr. Doolittle's scoreless streak end.

Oh, and if the umps didn't call fan interference, then the security guard was wrong to have the fan removed, right? Ya know, cuz it never happened.

I'm going to tmrw's game, and my brother told me to get one of those li'l brooms. Don't wanna jinx it tho.

The official ruling was that the umpire allows the base runner to advance as far as he would have had there been no interference.

Either way the officials got it wrong. He never would have scored from first on that hit.

Luckily it didn't cost them the game.

I'm also sad to find out that Doolittle is human

Yup, I'm bummed they didn't pull off da sweep.

Cuz I'm a weirdly superstitious type, I was kicking myself when the Giants put up the 4 spot. Since it's been such a long time since I'd been back to at&t among those few times I have, I decided to do a quick loop to check out the park during the home half of the inning.

Griffin gave up his first hit, then the lead w/ the next batter. Then way downhill fr there. I kept my @$$ glued to my seat the rest of the game, but the damage was done.

Never been to AT&T Park. Always wanted to, but couldn't figure out how to do it without any Giants fans being there. I do not like seeing goofy animal hats outside of a zoo or a theme park. It's just not right.

Last time I went was for the HomeRun Derby in '07, so the Disney/Giants fan factor was well below normal. 'Twas prolly your best chance.

Oh, and on a side note, it had also been a while that I'd gone to any sort of day game. My gawd it's great to see so many wimmenz sporting their booty shorts & other eye-pleasing ensembles.

A walka walka walkoff!!!

Too bad it's because the A's left about 200 men on base and couldn't score.
