Can they beat anyone outside of their own division now?

W's take 2 of 3 at Yankee Stadium. Considering that's their only visit there, they got to be happy with that.

The offense is getting it done and the pitching is getting their act together. Every game counts, but early season wins help build some confidence on top of last year's run.

I'm glad they were able to win their last 2 series cuz the latter half of April was turrrrrrible. Although they came away w/ 2 of 3 when the Angels visited last week, it was a costly series injury-wise... i.e. Coco, Anderson, Young. But it's great to have Yoenis back!

Today, Parker needs a solid outing. He's in dire need of rebounding to his rookie self.

And Reddick is struggling badly at the plate. Thankfully, Donaldson & Moss have been thriving. They were my biggest offensive concerns coming into the season, but have stepped up huge and have performed beyond my expectations.

I'm hoping for another 2 series wins as they close out this roadtrip.

LET'S GO OAKLAND! *clap clap clap-clap-clap*

That was just inexcusable what the umpires did. Angel Hernandez should be fired. How can you say it was inconclusive when they saw the exact same replay as everyone else did?

Yea, the replay system is a joke. Why have it if you aren't going to use it properly?

MLB's Joe Torre issued a statement earlier and said it was an improper call. He also said they strive for perfection regarding calls. But the call still stands. Now that is a joke!

Next time Angel Hernandez visits Oakland, the resident DJ should play "3 Blind Mice". He'll probably get ejected from the game, but he/she should still do it!

Saw the call with multiple replays.... clearly showing the angel of the ball changed after it hit the 2nd railing.... wow.

Angel Hernandez saw the score 100-91 and also said the Spurs won game 2.

Another thing is Angel Hernandez knows he got it wrong, yet he has no ***** to issue a public apology. Jim Joyce ruined a perfect game for Galaragga (sp?), but at least he apologized for his mistake.

The last 3 series have been much more like the A's I'm used to seeing. 'Tis encouraging to see starters are finding a bit more consistency on the hill. And a HUGE plus that keys guys are back in the lineup/on the field.

I'm going to tmrw nite's game. I'm also thinking of watching Wed's when the Battle of the Bay moves across the bridge to at&t. Anyone else hitting up any games against the Giants?

Angel Hernandez is a disgrace.

Giants' Bochy got tossed too for the missed swipe 2 times in a game

I saw the highlights and those missed tags. Was that Angel's call at the plate too???

What a tool.

Not him, but just sayin... wtf is the point of replay if you aren't going to call the close plays?

Great outing by Straily. The starting rotation is starting to find some consistency.

Once again, I can't thank the Astros enough for joining the AL West. If the A's get in a slump, just smack the Astros around for a few games and get rolling again.
