Dexter Fowler was seen at tonight's Warriors game. My guess is if the Giants don't land Cespedes, Fowler will most likely be a Giant.

Orly?! I would be okay with that. I don't mind a good defensive OF with decent speed and some contact skills.

So off to Arizona you go? IIRC dodgers there too No?

...and in other news, Gordon off the board. Do the Giants stand pat, or take another step for LF/CF?

Pfffft I wish!

They use to be Florida, and I am sad they are not there anymore, they named the town Dodgertown, then left a year or two later.

Saw that.
Denard Span.

What should I think of this?

Meaning...he seems like another Pagan. Skilled and effective WHEN HEALTHY.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. I do agree that when he is healthy then he can be good but how healthy can he stay is the question.

Well, I just read it on my phone at work and posted this from my work computer. In this day and age I figured everyone was adept at googling basic info.

I'm not quite sure what to think of it. Pagan's playing a contract year so he should, in all likelihood, be pushing for great numbers and significant playing time. If, and that's a big if, Pagan stays healthy I think they'll be pretty well off. Span's supposedly looking good health-wise but his Agent is Boras so I'd take everything with a grain of salt. That being said, I don't think the Giants would gamble on a three-year contract unless they felt he was going to be good to go.

Span, potential lead off hitter...not with Pagan in the lineup. Pagan loves to bat lead off, no way he's giving that role up without a fight. We saw that a little bit with last season when Aoki was moved down the batting order to accommodate Pagan.

I'm surprised the Giants have committed $320 million in payroll. That's Dodgers territory

I hate injury prone people...

Folks in baseball basically just injure themselves out, Scutaro, before that was the other 2nd basemen who never came back in. Aoki/Pagan all injured themselves and are good when playing... but a seaosn is like really you need to just play them half the time or something.

I see Crawford,Panik as solids, Tomlinson making a bid for 3rd, still gotta figure out this thing with Belt/Posey at 1st.
