Great win today, but it's difficult not to notice Suzuki's terrible at bats lately. He hasn't been able to hit anything as of late.

Seriously. He's my favorite player though and he's handling the staff well. But a win is a win!!! Love the story behind the gold jerseys! Did you read that Fuentes was going to pay for a private jet to fly in the gold jerseys from Oakland. Thats crazy!

Hey man, go with what's working. They're gonna need anything they can get when they roll into Philly.

Yeah, the only time they seem to have any consistency is when Gio is on the mound. You never know when the other starters are going to be hot or cold. Same goes for the bats.

I wouldn't mind if Melvin comes back next year as he seems to have the locker room respect, but they really need to get some consistent hitters to have any shot at the post season.

There's a lot of holes to fill this off season:

C: Suziki
FB: Allen (he's earned it so far)
SB: Weeks (no question)
SS: Penni (he can hold it unless we find someone better)
TB: ??? (Sizemore isn't the answer)
RF: ???
CF: Coco (I'd like to see him stay)
LF: ??? (Willingham is DH material)

I think we have enough pitchers to get by especially when Ross and Braden get healthy. The bullpen is decent but could use some consistency. Cahill just needs some more time to get comfortable because everyone knows he's got good stuff.

I like Allen so far, the kid looks like he has some power and with more at bats I believe he can have a huge impact...We do however need another power hitter who is consistint..I hope fuentes gets traded I cant stand him , hopfullly we can aquire some relief pitching for next year

yo know i'm not a fan of fuentes either but if you think about it, he did well in the beginning of the year, then tank... I think he was just over used... If we can get someone good for him then trade him, but I don't think he's terrible, plus he's been playing better lately.

As for Allen, he's solid. His hr at Yankee stadium was a SHOT! I'm okay with Sizemore, unless we find someone better, he's had some key hits and I hope we resign COCO and Hammer next year. Hopefully Cater turns around because he NEEDS more ABs and maybe Taylor gets a look at... We'll see but with Ross and Braden coming back will be good, but don't forget about Anderson. Hopefully he recovers well from TJ surgery.

I'm going to the game tomorrow. Anyone else going?

If only sizemore was consistint because somtimes he can stroke the ball. I hope we resign coco I like him in center field, he is a good mature baseball player who knows the game..I might be at the game tomorrow depending on my schduele
