Nico is so mentally weak this is his only option.
There is no way he would ever be able to handle the pressure of defending a title.
He got lucky he even won it this year.

Maldonado interview where he expresses his surprise at not being snatched up by one of the teams in silly season...you've got to admire his self belief!

Bernie out....Ross Brawn in
Great news
Brawn seems to have a pretty good understanding of the sport, he won 2 titles with Schumi at Bennetton and 5 at Ferrari...won with the Brawn team (he led the Honda team that designed the car) and paved the way for the recent Mercedes domination. He understands the teams and owners.
I'm excited that his first comments are that he wants to make it a reasonable proposition for the smaller teams to actually make money and surprise the big boys with ingenuity and reign in the excessive power and money guarantees for Ferrari and the big teams.
Gotta love Bernie for making F1 into the global sport it is today, but it was time for him to go..I wonder in Jean Todd and Charlie Whiting are next?
