I actually kind of want to see Alonso in Mercedes. Every nut swinger of his says he is the best driver on the grid and it has been a series of bad cars blah blah blah. I think he is past his prime.
A ride in a merc would settle the dispute on wether or not I'm wrong.

2010 was telling. He couldn't make 2 passes to win it all... I don't know if he has season long drive in him. He is not young anymore either, can't forget that.
I think Alonso wasted his prime going back to Renault, had he not done some things at McLaren the first time around, he probably would have had more championships.
It's QQ thankyouverymuch

Once Lewis got his front wing alongside Nico's rear tire, Nico has to leave space for Lewis. Lewis got his front tires up to Nico's rear tires before Nico forced him off the track.
Should Lewis have not gone for the gap? He's a racing driver. That's what he's supposed to do.
Something Something... Being a racing driver means you are racing with other people and if you no longer go for a gap that exists you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, we are competing to win and the main motivation to all of us is to compete for the victory.
Except he illegally defended. Lewis was far enough forward for Nico to have to leave space. As per the rules.

No malice or dastardly tactics from either driver...just split second bad decision making that was ruled a racing incident..
Sounds from Gagan's post above that Hammy will struggle to challenge Nico for the title if he gets grid penalties...
Maybe this is Nico's season? where all the bad luck hits Lewis...it's worked the other way on previous occasions and that's how it goes in F1
