It's spotty at the park.

Verizon seemed good. I had coverage in most spots. Same with my buddy.

Not sure about everyone else.

That's what I thought. So I'd say Sprint will probably have something up there. LOL.

AT&T doesn't believe in supporting anything outside of city limits.

We lose a car everytime we go up to Hammy it seems. That number might increase since back then we didn't have the "Hella Flush" stretched tires scene. Please drive slow guys I would hate to see some nice Subies in a ditch someplace.

Not sure if this has been mentioned here, but I do know it has been cautioned in a BAM-related thread somewhere in recent memory.

The drive to the observatory is really great, but it's really only something to do in smaller groups of people you trust or with whom have previously driven on similar stretches.

This drive is NOT something I recommend undertaking w/ the caravan that you roll up to the park in the morning (i.e. typically relative strangers)!

I know you were thinking all this, Justin. I read between the lines, brah, and just wanna make sure our peeps know what's up.

^^^ this, but fixed for accuracy of the terrain.

Its pretty obvious that the drive up isn't a joke. I'm sure everyone will do their part and drive safely with all the warnings being shot out day by day. Don't know too many people that would want to go extremely fast in corners with such a large group to be honest. In past years were the ones that crashed idiots?

Also ontop of the road itself being challenging there are a lot of bicyclist that go up here as well. So the last thing anyone wants is to take a biker off the road with them.

Would it be helpful to have me bring a large amount of 1's so people can have exact change at the gate? I run a few gas stations and I could get a hundred or 2 in 1's and change people's fives at the meetup of the caravans. I can probably dispense money faster than the rangers can given me experience in retail. Just hoping to be able to help in some small way.... On the other hand I get it if it creates more problems than it solves.
