1. Don't act or drive like idiots. The caravans will have 25-100 cars each in them and those folks don't need any extra attention. And Mt. Hammy/Quimby will eat noobs for breakfast so be very careful. We loose a car every year, don't let it be you.
2. BRING CASH. If you're paying with a card at the door you better pray their system is up and beyond that you're holding up the 100 cars behind you. We are going to have 2-3 food trucks there and I want to support them the best we can. There will be shirts for sale and some vendors will have items for sale. Bring as much cash as you can or you're gonna be bummed.
3. Sunscreen. Wear it. Bring it.
4. Entertainment. Frizbee. Baseball/gloves. Wiffle ball. Soccer. Football. If you have one... bring it. You'll get board hearing the same stories eventually.
5. Beers/beverages. If you're of age and responsible... Feel free. But I am not going to take responsibility for anyone drinking and driving so please use your heads or I will physically sit you down and make you wait until you sober up. We will have a person or two camping up there. Don't doubt me.
I will have water scattered all over the place but if you want... bring your own. But I also ask that you support the trucks. They'll be selling sodas and what not so make sure those guys get paid for driving up hammy in those huge trucks.
6. SUPPORT THE VENDORS. Please support the vendors and the trucks.
7. This is a charity event. Remember that. I will not be taking any profit. All raffle profit will go to the charity which will be announced in a big way when the time is right. It's a great cause. The raffle rips. Buy tickets.
8. There are very few shirts. Buy early or you will not get one.
9. Wear shorts. Bring pants.
10. If you have a dog with you bring a leash just in case.
11. Wear your wrist bands or you'll be asked to pay.
12. Bring a fold out chair or you'll be standing a lot.
13. If you have an easy up... not a bad idea to bring it.
Most of all.. have fun. I'm trying to make this a family friendly laid back event that we can all agree is a blast. This is a building block for next year so if you have input AFTER the event... we'll open it up to that as usual but don't be surprised if I tell you to STFU. LOL!
Looking forward to meeting you guys. Remember... red shirt means top dogs.

If you haven't driven up Hammy before, be aware, there are plenty of turns before hitting the trees (The cliff area) that have gravel on the turns you WILL lose traction if you're being a dick around them. Also if you're in a caravan one idiot will cause multiple people to do so and you end up with many cars possibly crashing please be aware of that. It's definitely not a walk in the park keep your eyes open and drive safe.

12. For anyone who has never been on this road, pay close attention to 1.
10.1. Pretty sure leashes are required there. Could not verify that online, but that is usually the case for most parks.

13. Bring a large goofy looking sun hat.
5.1 I will be camping out so if anyone gets to impaired they can crash at my campsite or get there own. No you can not crash in my tent unless you are female and call my girlfriend and ask if its ok.

I've been up and down that road literally thousands of times and I STILL got caught off guard by some black ice on the section going down into the valley where the park is one time, so definitely take it easy up there. Not really cold enough for black ice yet, but there are still spots in that area that get little sun and can be damp even in the day.

Finally, I can take my dog to a BAM event! Looking forward to this. Yes, Mt. Hammy is very dangerous if you're not driving particularly careful. Please be safe going up and coming down guys. Would hate to hear about someone wrecking their car. Thanks a bunch, OneManArmy, for setting up these tips and BAM XII. Looking forward to it.
