You dont have to condition the batteries anymore, we are waaay past the old NiCad days. Going low hurts them, not helps.

Conditioning Li-Ion helps in my experience. It helps the phone/laptop know the absolute MAh, and then you get a more realistic representation of how the battery life is.

This. Although if you do some stupid **** to your battery it'll stop holding a charge.

Got the N5 yesterday, didn't even take it out of the box. Didn't get the SIM since I wasn't there to sign for it.

I will agree it will let the power management know how much is in the tank. But the Li Ion cell doesnt have a memory.

Just walk into your local T-Mobile store, we will gladly swap the sim card out with a new one or just cut it.
