Google is completely destroying the price stage. DESTROYING IT.
What is basically a N4 updated a bit, but sells for $179/$199 for 8gb/16gb???
I mean, that just puts crazy pressure on Samsung and HTC. Eventually, this will hurt Apple as well.

Found this app tonight...

So far so good, so nice to be able to stream local content to the chromcast now!
I was hoping they were going to update chromecast to be able to do it, but this is good in the meantime.

Totally different, probably too early to say at this point. But, the camera is pretty amazeballs so far, and it's really fast. I am coming from an iPhone 4S though, but also use a BB Z10 for work. The Nokia is very interesting. Was my wife's but she didn't end up liking it, so I am trying it out. Ringtones seem geared for female fans of LOTR.

Yep, that is where I was at. After a few days now, I have to admit I really like it. You can move/re-size tiles around the desktop to make it look like anything you want really. So far it's really fast and easy to use. Again, I am coming from an iPhone 4S and a BB Z10. When I had the iPhone, I would always reach for the BB for browsing, probably because of the screen. But with the BB, I was constantly clicking the wrong things. This never happens on the iPhone. Now with the 1020, I noticed that I did not touch my work phone (BB Z10) all weekend and my iPhone has been in a drawer.
So, after a couple days of seriously being like "forget this thing" I think it has grown on me. The camera is pretty sweet. I will see if I have any photos that don't suck from the weekend. I used to use my Nikon P300 a lot, but this phones camera has a larger sensor. Smaller lens but so far the pics seem comparable.
The touch screen and all that is pretty fantastic, display is really nice. Everything works well. To add new ring tones, I just text it to myself from my other phone, and basically add it with one "click-hold" and then it's added to the ringtone library.
