^Or put him back as d-line coach! =D

With his crap holio plugin team and departures, there was no way the Niners were going to make the playoffs. Musta been those ugly losses to Cleveland and Detroit.

But having Tomsula meant we didn't get Gase this past offseason. Of course not sure how much better this team may have ended up.

Seems like we need a new coach AND a new GM.

BTW, not saying Tomsula was a bad coach, just seemed like bad timing to try being a HEAD COACH... As if he was essentially set up to fail.

But looks like York will keep his closest lieutenant next to him for at least one more season and then if still underperforming maybe clean house.

Just waiting for them to actually get FOOTBALL minds in the house.

See what happens with the Warriors once they did that idea!?? Of course it's easier to get to the playoffs in basketball but still ....

I know a lot of people are on the kill York + Baalke "uncomfortable" train, but they BOTH did fine Jim Harbaugh and the talent was there.

I think Baalke knows what he's doing in terms of talent, now in terms of "being uncomfortable" I think Jed and Baalke realize their little pansy mistake of getting rid of Harbaugh. I still think Niners need to get more talent before delving into a new HC.

I personally wouldn't mind if Baalke stays, he's had a decent record, yes he did miss on some picks, but no one is perfect on drafting.

I'd like a coach who gets hired or a GM, or whatever to clean house though. Tomsula has never been a reputable Coordinator let alone coach, get someone with some experience (Harbaugh had the resume last time). The question is, is the ownership going to ****ing cry wolf if the HC makes them feel "uncomfortable" again.

Please someone tell me why they are winning. How does this help them in any way?

Cleaning house, aren't they?!? How does a worse draft pick work in your favor?!!!

P.s. You know it's a bad year when it's a better use of your time taking a nap, than it is to watch your team on TV.

Seriously, right now the Niners are ranked #5 in the draft, I hope St. Louis Wins.

I'm curious what the niners are gonna do with that 5th pick. There are 2 or 3 QB's worth taking a flyer on. Or they can trade down for more picks. Which is what I personally think they should do. They have a lot of holes.

I think they could pull someone like Carson Wentz in the second round and be just fine. I'd trade down and target Wentz and Taylor Decker.

5th? No more. From initial analysis they're now down in 7-9 range pending the wrap up...
Dammit....

Yea, and lol @ Harbaugh throwing shots @ the Front Office. Couple of hours after Jed announced Tomsula's fired.

"Do not be deceived. You will reap what you sow."

Maybe Harbaugh is subtweeting the entire 49ers' front office for their endless instability. Maybe. It's also quite likely the eccentric coach just wanted to teach a life lesson to catapult the people of the Internet into a bountiful week of self-fulfillment. Either way, we approve.

I actually got to go to the game today (for free) people were stoked to win but were clearly frustrated by the team lol

I think we got bumped to #7 pick with that win. really no need for a performance today. I was hoping we'd see whoever is backing up gabbert and hayne go out and play.

Maybe it was Tomsula's f-u to the organization knowing he was out

I feel like it's just going to be more of the same if Baalke's still at the helm next year.

Find it pretty funny that there are still continued "leaks" even after "demoting" Paraag Marathe. I mean, Jim Tomsula had to find out through social media about his coaching status. Everybody knew Tomsula was fired before he did. How sad is that? York/Baalke have to end their relationship with "Jimmy" over a written press release for crying out loud...

Yup. It was a terrible win. Going from 5th to 7th is HUGE if you are thinking about trading down. At this point I think they're stuck picking there.

Could get Lynch or Goff at that pick. At 7 that makes the most sense.
