...and the pain of being a 9ers fan continues.

To wit, the Seahawks advance on a last second FG miss by MIN K, like a 26yarder.

Can't think of another team in the last decade that's had a horse shoe planted up their *** like the Seahawks do.

Hue is a good coach. He did a better job in Oakland than he gets credit for. Would have been a good fit in SF. Really goes to show that people are aware of the mess that the team is in regards to ownership.

Maybe pull a college coach?

Maybe. But that's not what "Jed" promised (as if anything he says could be trusted). He was talking like he wanted a winner, someone who's "done it before..."--however that should be translated.

Whoever comes on board, in extremely interested in who is hired as OC/DC...

So Supposedly the Pool contains these names

Chip Kelly (HC Eagles)
Anthony Lynn (Bills AC)
Dirk Koetter (Bucs OC)
John DeFilippo (Browns OC)
Tom Coughlin (Giants HC)
Mike Shanahan (Redskins HC)
Mike Holmgren maybe?

Not a bad list. I guess my favorites with hue out would be shanhan or kelly. Would not be happy with Lynn or DeFilippo. I've heard Koetter's name before but not familiar

Rumor has it that Jackson wanted more control with the roster. If true, the Browns are the only team that's willing to do that.

Yea I read somewhere earlier that Balke wants split control over roster decisions.

Just as long as they don't draft a wide out or running back in the first 5 rounds I'm ok with whatever

Yup

49ers hire Chip Kelly | ProFootballTalk

Should be an interesting couple years. Too many haters out there I think Chip still has a chance to do something. Ownership better stay out of the way

If Baalke stays after his contract is up next season, it's only a matter of time before he and Kelly start to clash. That also assumes Kelly's still here after next season too...
