Brought in a good coach. He put together a championship level team. York got the stadium he wanted, got the Superbowl venue, and now he goes back to being a cheap ***.
It's a slap in the face to the fans, especially the ones that coughed up the mini-fortune for an SBL for season tickets.
York is is only about the money, he don't give a **** about winning.
What kept Adam Gase from landing 49ers' top job? - NFL.com
"How close did Adam Gase come to taking over as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers?
NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Monday that the former Broncos -- and current Bears -- play-caller likely would have landed the Niners job if he agreed to hire Jim Tomsula as his defensive coordinator, according to a source apprised of the situation.
Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News was told a similar story by an NFL source who said that Gase "turned that suggestion down flat."
Breer was told that Gase's pitch to 49ers' brass was to either keep Vic Fangio in place as defensive coordinator or hire away Bengals assistant Vance Joseph from Cincinnati. Fangio might have left San Francisco anyway -- and the Bengals blocked Joseph from seeking other jobs -- but Gase was not about to be told who his coordinators would be.
When talks with Gase broke down, the 49ers quickly hired Tomsula, who turned around and named Eric Mangini his defensive play-caller before promoting quarterbacks coach Geep Chryst to offensive coordinator. Neither were hot names this offseason.
As fate would have it, Gase ultimately wound up alongside Fangio in Chicago, both serving as coordinators under coach John Fox. We can only imagine the backroom conversations these two valuable assistants must share about a 49ers squad under plenty of pressure to prove that replacing Jim Harbaugh was the wise move."

Vic Fangio would have remained as 49ers defensive coordinator if Adam Gase had been hired as head coach last month, a source told CSNBayArea.com on Monday.
Fangio was Gase’s first choice to remain in charge of the 49ers’ defense, according to two league sources. And Fangio, who interviewed for the head-coaching job after Jim Harbaugh’s departure, wanted to remain with the 49ers, a source close to Fangio confirmed.
Tim Kawakami of the Mercury News reported Gase was in line to be the 49ers coach but it was contingent on Jim Tomsula being promoted from defensive line coach to defensive coordinator.
A league source told CSNBayArea.com that it was never stressed to Gase during the interview process, including an 8 1/2–hour meeting with general manager Trent Baalke on Jan. 13 in Denver, that Tomsula’s status on the 49ers’ coaching staff would be a deal-breaker.
Gase, the former Denver Broncos offensive coordinator, was prepared to keep Tomsula as defensive line coach with a title promotion, a source said. Gase and Tomsula worked together with the 49ers on Mike Nolan's staff in 2008. But the day after Baalke’s second interview with Gase, the 49ers made the decision to promote Tomsula to head coach.
The 49ers continued to pursue Gase to join Tomsula's staff as offensive coordinator over the course of the next week. Tomsula eventually promoted quarterbacks coach Geep Chryst to 49ers offensive coordinator.
After the hiring of Tomsula, Baalke said the head-coaching job was never offered to Gase.
“The job was offered to one person and one person only, and that was Jim Tomsula," Baalke said.
Fangio had no desire to remain on Tomsula’s staff, according to sources, and the 49ers released Fangio from his contract. Now, Fangio and Gase are united as coordinators under John Fox with the Chicago Bears.
Fangio was 49ers defensive coordinator for four seasons under coach Jim Harbaugh. The 49ers’ defense ranked in the top five in the NFL in each of Fangio’s four seasons as coordinator.

Can Kaepernick STFU on Twitter? Responding back like he has makes him look... like a kid.
How about you (Kaepernick) be clutch at the end of the game. Superbowl could have been won, and so could a NFC playoff game.

Gagan, the lines for 2015 team win totals were released in Vegas today. Doesn't look too good for you. This also backs up my theory that we should be able to go 8-8 based on roster alone with 1-3 games coming down on coaching.
