#49ers MOST important hire once Tomsula was named HC was the OC. Yet they hired the entire OFF staff but no play caller. Why?
@JohnMiddlekauff
Some OC candidates may not want to work w/Sparano. Or the OL coach they hired from Washington. Usually you hire them after the OC.
Alright! I know I said I was gonna wait til the OC hire to flip over tables, but doesn't chuckin' a chair or two around count?
Seriously, I agree on that this mess of a so-called "hiring strategy" in most definitely not confidence-instilling.
And Gagan, you really drove home the point on how bass-ackwards this plan is by their putting asst's in place w/o locking in who the freakin' OC will be.
Now it's very transparent that front office is in "We don't need to dish out cash for our coaching staff" mode. As mentioned countless times here already, they've got their state-of-the-art stadium built and a Super Bowl next year to show it off. I can just picture them fools asking themselves, "Does the championship tradition need to be a priority right now? Let's give it a few seasons, eh?"
Grrrrrrrr......

Mike Singletary for OC
On a serious note, York/Baalke are becoming like Cohan/Rowell (former Warriors owner/management). 49ers are going to become the laughing stock of the league, if they haven't already...

Well Philly blocked Bob Bicknell from interviewing in SF for the OC spot, maybe Kap will just become QB/OC
WELP. So much for that one. They are going to hire from within, and then say he was their guy all along...

Two league sources tell me Bob Bicknell and Jim Tomsula spoke about 49ers OC job. Bicknell wants to stay.
Looks like Middlekauf could be on to something.
