but yeah you are right didn't think there would be this much interest lets hope everybody turns up on the day..OK guys lets keep this thread for the BIG Meet/Drive but I am on for meeting up before hand but start another thread for that, so people don't get confused. I have a felling if this meet is a success there will be plenty more after this..
Wouldn't 20 Subies driving down a road be the business, lets hope the cops don't see us hehehehehehe

If i knew how to post pixs on i-club i would. I've got at least 3 drives with close to 20 cars. It's a show stopper
An having so many cars on a one lane road really isn't a problem. It's just that the leader needs to knpw where to slow up the group to keep anyone from doing anything stupid.

Seriously, if you need help with the route let me know.

Plus the week before i'm leading a small "off-road" drive that will beat on my car. She may need a rest

I'll come to a conclution closer to the drive date.

200 plus, i doubt that, ive been an avid rider on Monticello for about 5 years now, rarely have I seen more than 50 bikes at a time at corners, and as far as one of the best roads....... maybe you should do some more exploring, not sure as to what your personal experiences are but there are MUCH better roads than Monticello IMHO

So I think it's safe to say that the route of choice will be Trinity Pass -> 128 -> Chile Pope's -> Silverado Trail -> 128. (Route 2 posted earlier, gives a better description)
And Rich, it would be great if you could make it! Would love to learn more about the roads around here...

Here's my suggestion (it's a long drive though)
From Healdsburg
to Dry Creek Rd.
to Skaggs Spring
to Annapolis
to Hwy 1
up to Gualala
onto Old Stage rd
to Ten Mile rd
down Eureka Hill rd
back on Hwy 1 north
onto Mountain View rd
into Boonville
route 128 south back to Cloverdale
then well eat at the Burger Shack

I picked that roue because the roads are GREAT and for the most part all TWO LANEs with limited traffic
whatcha think?

Hey Rich, thanks for the route plan! As fun as that sounds (I LOVE Skaggs, and the Hamburger ranch in Cloverdale), we'll be leaving from Santa Rosa with the final destination being Healdsburg, so the route you described is a bit too "northern".
Being from Mendocino County, I don't drive on Sonoma roads as much, so I don't know too much about road condition's. Just that I've had fun on them in the past.
So, what do you think would be a good route for our little meet? Most certaintly would like to take your route on another meet though!

That takes all of about 3.5 hours...unless some of us take Fish Rock Rd. instead...but Rich might like that too much (dirt road).
Rich's route sounds GREAT!!

Then Rich's route it is? Originally we where meeting at the Santa Rosa Avenue Starbucks (Near Hwy 12/101 crossroad), and then going on a drive with the final place being Bear republic. We wouldn't want to start the drive off with beers in some people's bellies...
