The route sounds fine.
If you wanted to extend the days drive i would recommend taking Spring Mountain/ St Helena rd (outof St Helena)
Turn right onto Calistoga rd
left onto Creek rd
right onto Franz Valley rd
left onto 128
left onto Claulk Hill rd
drive into Windsor
north on 101 to Healdsberg

Thanks for the update on the road. Sounds like one I wouldn't mind, but no dirt for this drive...

With that said, here's a proposed schedule plan:

Start off at Santa Rosa Avenue Starbucks
Head north on Santa Rosa Avenue
Take a right on Bennet Valley Road
Left onto Warm Springs Road
Take a left on Hwy 12
Right on Trinity Road
This continues on to Dry Creek Road
Left onto Oakville Grade Road.
This lets out onto St Helena Hwy (128/29).
Right onto Silverado Trail (parallels 128, but a LOT less boring)
Left on Pope Street
Right onto St Helena Hwy (128/29)

Left onto Spring Mountain / St Helena Rd (outof St Helena)
Turn right onto Calistoga Road
Left onto Porter Creek Road
Right onto Franz Valley Road
Left onto Hwy 128
Left onto Chalk Hill Road
Take Pleasant Ave into Windsor
North on 101 towards Healdsburg

Now, this route doesn't get us into Chiles Pope Valley Road, which we could easily squeeze into the route plan above, if we just take the road off of Silverado Trail.

Anyone wanna extend it onto Chiles Pope Valley Road, then left onto Howell Mountain Road down into St Helenea. Left on Hwy 128, then right onto Spring Mountain? Then continue as above...

Oh, and if we wanted to skip Hwy 101 all-together on the final bit, we could just take Old Redwood Highway from Windsor up to Healdsburg Avenue, stop at 345 Healdsburg Ave for some good eats/brew!!

(That reminds me Brian, maybe we should stop by Bear republice this weekend and give them a heads up, reserve a few tables and such...)

Yeah we could call into them on Sunday and talk and see what the story is.. As of now we have around 20+ cars so we should be looking at 30 odd people including any passenger that might want to come for the drive..

Def 30 cars for the win! As for parking, the lot at the Santa Rosa Avenue Starbucks is pretty big, so no worries there. And if I recall correctly, their's a nice big lot across the street from Bear Republic. Now, parking along the way is another story!

Which reminds me, does anybody know of any good places to do a photo shoot with all the Subies? Somewhere along the route posted above...

I find my self ending up at bear _quite often_ I will go up this weekend and give them warning. Then on the day of the event, ill call in the morning at the rally point to give them the final count of how many are showing. At this rate I may have to buy more than 1 starter pitcher.
