just a thought on parkeing at the santa rosa maket place. most likly these spots will be open and there is 35+ spaces if i counted right. get a quick pic of all of us befor we go.

Just got back from a nice little pre-drive of the route we had planned, and loved every minute of it! I wanted to get a feel for the route, see where to turn, places to take photos, places to turn off in the event of an accident, spots where we might get broken up and rendezvous points. Good stuff like that!
All I can say, is that it is gonna be one KILLER drive. Beautiful places to take shots on parking lots that can actually fit all of us.
I mapped out all of the stoplights and places were we might get broken up, and then found places where we could pull over to wait for others to catch up. There's only a few places I see a problem, nothing severe - so the flow shouldn't be killed too much.
Also, there's a great meeting point roughly 2/3 of the way through that has a HUGE parking space, nearby Chevron and super-market...

Alright guys, ONE MORE DAY!!! Looks like it should be a fun day...
Remember everyone, bring the following...
1) Full tank of gas
2) Empty bladder
3) Radios, if you have them
4) Cameras for pics!
5) Money for coffee/food/beer...
And...
6) YOUR BRAIN. Try to be smart on the drive. We'll of course go over safety rules and the like before the drive. Of course we want to have fun, and will. But we can also be smart as to keep things safe.

WOW guys, this looks like a blast. I hope I can go. A friend of mine is here from out of town so if I can convince him to go I'm there. This would be my first time doing it!!!! HA HA!!
