Trust me.. I'm going to be giving a bit of a "safety lecture" at the meeting point pre-drive. With this many people, there really isn't much room to screw around. There will be plenty of opportunity to enjoy the roads we drive without endangering anyone around you.

 

good. I could bring some state and federal documentation if you want to break down total braking distance ect lol. Sorry, I have to go through defensive driving every year before they let me drive our crew carriers, or any vehicle for that matter.

I want to go but 5hrs? That is 3.5hrs each way for me plus the 5 for the run. Man 11hrs in the car in one day is a lil much.

from the guy that might not come (meaning me) I agree; 5 hours is a long time for this many poeple to try and follow each other. I almost would want to be in the lead so i don't tail gate anyone. Hahaha, random thought. What if we come up behind a slow car and they try to pull over to let us pass. 40 cars later they are pissed they ever pulled aside and now they are trying to keep up crash and then go buy a subie so they can keep up next time.

Rain or shine im excited to go. maybe it would be a good idea to have 3 or so groups starting 5 min after another and just waiting at the potential photo op place. then again that can be talked about at the time of meet.

 

Is there going to be presentational aids... like posters, diagrams, handouts, materials?

Could someone PM me the route? STiYLIN and I were talking, and since this is such a long drive, it would be nice to have a cut out point. I may have missed it somewhere in the thread, but it is a lot to sift through.

I would love to go for the entire drive, but it is a lot of hours on the road. I also have homework, and a friends birthday to go to @ 7 PM back up here. Never-the-less, I have a couple of gallons of race gas ready and I've got the itch. I want to see some other subies!!
