my mom got pulled over in my car (completely catless) and was told the exhaust was too loud, the cop looked under the car (did NOT pop the hood) and then said she removed her cats (my car is low enough you would need a mirror and lots of light to see this, which he didn't) so he ended up writing up a ticket for "removal of catalytic converter". To say the least i was scared when it came in the mail, i opened it up and i had a fine of 114 dollars, and that's it. i paid it and nothing has been brought uP

There was one guy in sac who got sent to the ref for loud exhaust.
He put back his top mount and stock catback but did leave the vf30 pinks pump and tune. He passed the ref with no problems.
