There is no excuse for this car to not be in the 350-380 range. No excuse.
That car is pretty much what I expected. It looks like a legacy GT with a wing. I can't say I'm surprised. It's EXACTLY what I expected.
Then they tossed out the concept and I thought maybe they were putting their big boy pants on. But nope. It's just a small legacy gt.

Not sure if this has made it into the other threads but I got my "official" Subaru links this week: 2013 New York Auto Show | Subaru WRX Concept Basically what we have already seen.

If you believe this drivel you are a moron and a waste of air.
Hmm Subaru releases a concept WRX, but you choose to believe some pics from a random car website?

I think the real joke is that people still believe the production model will look exactly like the concept.

obviously he is being a total fool and didn't bother to read how the wrx concept was a design study. Go look at the rear on the first brz concept, LOL. Nah he's right it will be the most insane fenders on any car short of a lambo aventador for production. If you had a brain you'd see the part of the front fender, the odd seam on the door that is clearly super covered up, and the grill and headlights that look like no other sti but the same shape as the wrx concept. Anyways thats my opinion, time will prove somebody right. Also no article nor anybody here claimed that was even the final production car, something to think about. I think if the production car doesn't get the fenders from the wrx concept aboothman should have to punch himself right in the nuts. Must be that other turbo hood scoop subaru sedan with a wing.

You're right and that's my point though the BRZ and Legacy concepts are good examples and then look at the production models. Except I think Subaru went overboard in terms of teasing the public with all the glitzy things like the cf roof, diffuser, brakes, lights, exhaust tips and etc.

the concept car was just a styling exercise, giving hints and clues of what's to come across the entire model line. i dont think it was meant as the final version of the car. the camo'd test car, i think, is close to the final product. maybe a few tweaks here and there, and it'll be done. oh well. pure speculation at this point.
