if the fuel pump died it should stay that way, you don't think it'd fail and then be working again do you? that sounds unlikely to me

Floor mat pushed up under the clutch pedal??
May sound stupid, but it could have been the cause.

what I had wasnt a broken fuel pump, its a sensor that just cuts power to fuel pump if it thinks the cars in a big wreck or about to roll over.

Yeah, i've heard of that before, I just thought maybe you had experience with a fuel pump ****ting out on you or something. Anywhoo I guess the damn things ok. Now all I can do is wait for it to take a **** on me again. And if it does at least then ill be able to diagnose it, and if not screw it. 26k seems early for a stock fuel pump on stock injectors right, but then again what the hell do i know anyways. heh.

Jeremy- Was wondering if you had a tip on how to get the scruff marks off the rocker panel or whatever (where you kick your foot exiting the sti), I have the bra on there still but its really scuffed up, do I just need to replace it or do you think I can get it to show up less? thanks man,

you are probably out of gas

next time it doesn't start, drive it to the nearest gas station and fill up.
