no it turned over fine, and the battery was cool today when it started. I didn't do anything, before it sounded like fuel wasn't working so I thought pump died or someting happened. But now today it started fine. Im scared im going to get stranded at work

Well the dealer checked it out, said they are going to look again tomorrow but the car seems to be fine???? Well why didn't it start then, it wasn't user error. hehe

Anyways do you think it could be immobilizer chip in the key went bad? Is it not suppose to even turn over if the chip is bad? or does it jus not start?

You know, i make sure i can duplicate a problem before i like..try to figure it out, because i'm having a screeching/squealing in my front suspension only when i go hard for a bit around twisties and over bumps, but i can't seem to always reproduce it so im gonna wait until i know for sure. don't trip though, if it happens again then worry but right now, maybe it was just bad luck or bad connection or many things. how many miles if u dont mind me asking.

Did you recently do a trunk swap?

I ask this because I had a customer come in with his 06 WRX a few months back wanting me to swap his wingless trunk for an STi one I had laying around the shop.

After finishing the swap, his car would crank over, but not start.
It was the darndest thing; I was thinking "WTF M8" and the customer just looked at me like his dog died.

It finally started, & I sent him right to the dealer...who reported NTF.

if he was banging around alot in his trunk he might have bumped that sensor on the pass side in the trunk that tells the ECU the car just rolled-over and cuts power to the fuel pump. The car will start up again after you crank it a few times like nothing ever happened.
Trust me I know all about this one

hmmm, that could be a possibility for me, i have some crap in my trunk. Doesnt it take a lot for this to really happen? It definitely wouldn't start I tried for a few minutes and tried arming the pump blah blah but it didn't do anything so i figured It wasn't starting why kill the battery and the ignition system tryin it............but it definetely didn't go back to normal.
