Yeah you should definitely call those shops and explain your situation and ask them to write you a receipt for a product you didn't buy from them l, they didn't install, and for someone to whom they likely have no vested interest in having as a customer.
Put your earplugs in before you do it and prepare for laughter. You specifically asked for a receipt, not a quote, to fax to the dealer. I'm sure those shops would happily write you a quote. Prepare for the same laughter from the dealer once you send it to them. Or, the icy silence of no callback.

Fraud and other things like this are at least part of the reason why prices constantly go up on things like insurance, commodities, etc. If you can't see why this is an issue that is worth an honest person such as myself caring about then I'm done here.
