BTW i am far from an ethug if anything i get so pissed that people make stupid comments behind computer knowing they dont have to worry about anything....thats where my frustration came from..

Yeah you should definitely call those shops and explain your situation and ask them to write you a receipt for a product you didn't buy from them l, they didn't install, and for someone to whom they likely have no vested interest in having as a customer.

Put your earplugs in before you do it and prepare for laughter. You specifically asked for a receipt, not a quote, to fax to the dealer. I'm sure those shops would happily write you a quote. Prepare for the same laughter from the dealer once you send it to them. Or, the icy silence of no callback.

Just because the dealership sucks, doesn't mean you need to be dishonest and try to steal from them. If they suck just spread the word and it will deter people from going there, hence the dealership loses in the end. Your car gets fixed, you get 300 bucks, and they lose customers.
